Uninstalling Time Monitor
This document describes the procedure for removing the Piranha Designs™ Time Monitor™ software application from your computer.
Important:
To uninstall Time Monitor you must have administrative privileges. Limited, or Standard, users do not have sufficient rights to run the uninstall program. Further, if you are running Time Monitor v1.1.0 or higher then you must be logged on with the master Time Monitor Administrator account. Time Monitor will not allow any account other than the master Time Monitor Administrator to perform the uninstall if administrator security protection is enabled.
Prior to uninstalling Time Monitor:
Make sure all other users are logged off the computer and that you are logged onto the computer with an account that has administrator privileges. If Time Monitor v1.1.0 or greater is installed then you must be logged on as the master Time Monitor Administrator if administrator security protection is enabled.
If you are uninstalling the Time Monitor v1.1.0 release:
1. Launch Time Monitor Administrator
2. Go to Options->Settings
3. Uncheck the box "Time Monitor Administrator requires specific administrative user"
4. Check the boxes Enable Task Manager and Enable Registry Editing
5. Click OK to save the changes
6. Exit Time Monitor Administrator
Uninstalling Time Monitor:
1. Right-click the Start button then select Explore
2. Navigate to the directory C:\Program Files\Piranha Designs\Time Monitor
3. Doubleclick the file uninstall.exe
4. Click OK to begin the uninstall
