TIME MONITOR v1.1.2 released
September 2, 2009
Piranha Designs, LLC announced today that the latest release of Time Monitor v1.1.2 parental control software is now available. The Piranha Designs Time Monitor™ program is simply the finest Microsoft Windows® parental control software available today for helping parents limit kids computer time.
This release builds upon the previous release by increasing Administrator security protection and adding improvements to the install and uninstall programs. To read about features of the previous release read Time Monitor v1.1.0. The success of Time Monitor allows us to continue innovating and supporting our product.
Time Monitor v1.1.2 will now show you all accounts defined on your computer system including accounts you recently created. This is a change from earlier versions where a newly created account had to log on first to build the default desktop and user settings.
Time Monitor v1.1.2 now includes a new feature that integrates with Windows logon to prevent users trying to log on outside of their defined time schedule. All versions of Time Monitor prevent users from using the computer if the defined schedule prevents it. However, this additional feature prevents logon from the Windows logon screen with the message "Your account has time restrictions that prevent you from logging in. Please try again later."
The setup and uninstall programs have been improved due to user feedback. All open issues have been fixed. A big "Thank You" to our Finland customers for your suggestions! We recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version.
This release also includes minor bug fixes and small cosmetic changes that make the program even more stable and better looking. Customers who have purchased a previous release of Time Monitor v1.0 or Time Monitor v1.1 are eligible to upgrade to this release at no extra cost. We do our best to support our customers and freely provide minor upgrades.
