"I love how Time Monitor limits my kid's computer time. I'm no longer the time cop. Thanks for making it so easy to use and so inexpensive. It really is a great product for the price."

Preparing for the new release of Time monitor

The issue at hand is the release of our latest and greatest parental control software application - Time Monitor - and a new web site to go along with it. We felt that a big change was in order to showcase all the really cool features Time Monitor has to offer as well as demonstrate our web design prowess. We'll give you the inside scoop right here.

Time Monitor is an excellent parental control software program. With each release we try to make it even better. For example, a new feature is the new functionality provided by the account icon next to the User Name drop down list in Time Monitor Administrator. When you click on the icon you can change the gender of the picture shown to match the gender of the user. See, we show no bias :-) Of course, the new gender icons are just the tip of the iceberg.

You can now easily change the privelege level of the user account shown to either standard or administrator simply by choosing the new gender icon containing a picture of a key. A warning box will be displayed showing you if a change of privilege level is about to occur and get your confirmation before commiting the change. You can just as easily switch back if you accidently made a mistake. Be especially careful you don't accidently change your own account from administrator to standard user! If you log out, you can't log back in with administrator privileges!

A safeguard we added was to prevent the accidental disabling of your own account from the Time Monitor Administrator main screen. The Disable Logon box is greyed out when your own account is currently in view. Maybe we should add this preventative check to the gender icons too? Let us know what you think. We love hearing from our customers! You follks give us the inspiration to keep going!
